Celebrating 20 years in Napa Valley, Gordon (Gordy) loves the lifestyle of the wine country and in particular, celebrating life with wine. Having always had a knack for combining wine education with good times, Gordy started his legendary hospitality career with Robert Mondavi Winery.  After   two years under the tutelage of the world class Mr. Mondavi, Gordy spent seven years at Beringer and five years at Clos Pegas.
  
While at Pine Ridge Winery as Special Events Manager, Gordy had the   privilege to work with Gary Andrus who exposed Gordy to many fine French wines.  After Gary left Pine Ridge, Gordy joined world famous restuaranter, Pat Kuleto on Pat's Napa Valley estate high above Lake Hennessey in Napa Valley.  This idyllic position finally gave Gordy time to focus on the development of Eye on Wine.
 
Gordy's younger brother worked in Napa Valley as a cellar worker at Joseph Phelps winery where he met and married Francoise Joyet - from Domaine des Girasols in Rasteau, France.  With Jon now part of a family wine business in France, the Larum family needed a way to share the Girasol wines with their extended friends and family.  Gordy was passionate about the wine and in 2005 received his import/wholesale license so that he could share his brother's wine with an increasingly growing list of fans in the US. Through his incredible network of contacts, Gordy will be adding more wines to the list of wines available through the network of Eye of Wine.
